GRAMMAR
We are still getting an eagle's eye view of grammar. This week is all about the big pictures of Verbs. Verbs are the workhorses of all languages so it is crucial that students develop a solid understanding of how the operate. Students are not expected to master this in one week! We will spend plenty of time on verbs throughout the year. This week students will focus on filling in the verb chart. WRITING
TWSS unit 1 and 2 focus on Key Word Outlines. The goal for week 2 is to utilize KWOs, stylistic techniques, and vocabulary to write a short report on Jamestown from lesson 4 in the US History-Based Writing book (MHBW).
