The Faces of History writing project incorporates the essay model of structure and stylistic techniques covered in TWSS. It begins with the selection of a person who lived during the medieval era and represents a significant contribution during that time. Next, students will choose three topics to focus on. Ideas include; childhood, family, skills, battles, education, writings, beliefs, reign, accomplishments, hardships, etc. Using these topics, and the structural and stylistic techniques of TWSS, students will write an MLA formatted essay in third person. For the FOH production, students will convert papers to a first person speech, dress up in historical attire, and present the speech to an audience.
